Kaduna Polytechnic which is the largest Polytechnic in Africa South of the Sahara in terms of students population has four (4) colleges namely: (1) College of Administrative and Business Studies - CABS (2) College of Environmental Studies - CES (3) College of Engineering - COE (4) College of Science and Technology - CST The four colleges of Kaduna Polytechnic are located within Kaduna metropolis. The College of Science and Technology (CST) and the College of Engineering (COE) are located on the Main Campus in Tudun Wada; the College of Administrative and Business Studies (CABS) is located along the Golf Course Road, Ungwar Rimi with the Department of Special and Rehabilitative Education on Kaduna-Kachia Bye-pass while the College of Environmental Studies is located along Aliyu Makama Road, Barnawa. Each college is headed by a Director (who is responsible to the Rector) for its day-to-day administration. The colleges are organised into Schools and Academic Departments. There are at present nine schools and over thirty departments. |
